A couple Neblog subscribers have avatars registered with Gravatar.com, so wherever they post a comment, on any blog, the same picture displays for them by their comments. I’ve just updated our pages (through the wonders of Open Source Software hehe) so that comments show a gravatar if it’s available. Why? Why not? For anyone who doesn’t have a gravatar, we’ll see a “wavatar” which is an image generated using your registered email address. We can’t control what they look like – they’re generated using a standard algorithm, and again, your wavatar should be the same no matter where you use the same email address. More enhancements will be made here as time permits – mostly useful, occasionally useless like this one.
